Great and peacefull
Wonderful church in Italian style.
Its a starting point for a nice 26 k walk called the pelgrims tocht up to Margraten its a little bit boring but after that point you will be rewarded with a beutiful scenery its a good 5-6 hour walk

The Redemptorist Monastery is also known as the pilgrimage site of Saint Gerard of Majella. The monastery was built from 1729 onwards. It is also a national monument. The monastery and the surrounding area are definitely worth a look. Sufficient parking and catering in the area. Great starting point for a walk or bike ride.
